Mit dem aufwändig produzierten Video macht www.cigaradvisor.com auf ein neues Tablet-Magazin aufmerksam, wie sich jetzt herausstellt. Die Macher versprechen «The next generation of cigar magazine». Im Letter from the editor wird das Konzept folgendermassen erklärt:

(..) we don’t fit that uptight, too-cool-for-the-room stereotype of what you see in other cigar magazines. We think you’ve had about enough of that horseshit in the press that covers our love of cigars. The whole world isn’t about $800 cufflinks, the Financial Times (we never really did understand a pink newspaper) and a pretentious attitude with a smile that really means «F you.» That mindset is old. It’s weak, and it’s busted. So we’re doing it different – and you’ll realize it as soon as you get to the next page.

Für mich nicht das richtige, ich bin wohl eher der seriöse Cigar-Journal-Typ. Aber Vielfalt ist gut und das Konzept interessant, nicht zuletzt technisch.
